Remarkable talent
This cd just takes you to another world. It is smooth, yet funky. You can literally hear the words and thoughts of the artist through his horn, it's as if he is singing through his instrument. It's about time some innovation and intelligence has emerged in today's over-sampled, and musically, unambitious market. Too many artists are doing only that which others have done. "prodigal moon" is an outstandin accomplishment in composition n is also a tantalizin prelude of greater things to come ... this cd is infested with music that doesnt compromise or boasts its intelligence ... a bit slower than it needs to be at times but the overall three o'clock saturday afternoon in some chic deluxe loft (fully loaded with shit from ikea) somewhere on a distant planet groove worked for me
